Maha: New Consul of Australia Paul Murphy met Governor Ramesh Bais

Mumbai, Mar 22 (UNI) Newly appointed Consul General of Australia in Mumbai, Paul Murphy, met with State Governor Ramesh Bais at Raj Bhavan here on Friday.
Describing India as a trusted partner of Australia, Murphy said that apart from enhancing business and trade cooperation, he will strive to promote cooperation between Maharashtra and Australia in the areas of higher education, skill development, audio visual co-production, art, and culture.
Stating that the cities of Brisbane and Perth are keen to start direct flights to and from Mumbai, he said Australia is keen to promote two-way tourism in the years to come.
