India vs Pak T20 WC clash records history, becomes most viewed match

Dubai, Nov 25 (UNI) The highly-anticipated ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 match between India and Pakistan recorded a consumption of 15.9 billion minutes in India, becoming the most viewed match in the shortest format of the game.
Pakistan outclassed India by 10 wickets in the group match, ending the 29-year-old jinx. The encounter is now the most viewed T20I match in history, exceeding the previous high of the India versus West Indies semi-final match from the 2016 edition of the ICC event held in India.
Moreover, the T20 World Cup 2021, which was the biggest ever cricket event to be staged in the UAE and Oman, delivered a record viewership globally as it garnered a television reach of 167 million, the world cricket governing body stated on Thursday.
