Jaipur, Nov 17 (UNI) New Team India Captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and asked Tim Southee-led New Zealand to bat first in the first T20I match of the bilateral series here on Wednesday.
Shreyas Iyer, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Mohammad Siraj and Deepak Chahar are back in the side and Venkatesh Iyer, who made a name for himself in just half a season of the IPL, received his maiden cap from Head Coach Rahul Dravid.
New Zealand have made four changes. Southee brought in Mark Chapman, Todd Astle, Rachin Ravindra and Lockie Ferguson, while Kane Williamson, James Neesham, Ish Sodhi and Adam Milne missed out.
