Dubai, Jan 7 (UNI) International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday announced changes to T20I playing conditions that will come into effect this month.
The in-match penalty for slow over-rates has been introduced for all men’s and women’s T20I, with optional drinks interval also part of updated playing conditions.
"The over rate regulations are captured in clause 13.8 of the playing conditions, which stipulate that a fielding side must be in position to bowl the first ball of the final over of the innings by the scheduled or rescheduled time for the end of the innings," ICC said in a release.
