Heatwave conditions likely in Telangana in next 48 hours: Met

Hyderabad, April 18 (UNI) Heatwave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated pockets in Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, and Mahabubabad districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that the same situation is likely to prevail in Adilabad, KomaramBheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet, and Mahabubabad districts of the state on Friday.
A thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty winds ranging from 30 to 40 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in Mancherial, Nizamabad, Jagityal, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Medak, and Kamareddy districts of Telangana on April 20.
