Akshaya Patra serves 20 crore meals aiding govt’s Covid relief efforts

Bengaluru, Nov 24 (UNI) Undertaking Covid-19 relief feeding across the country, The Akshaya Patra Foundation has cumulatively served over 20 crore (200 million) meals to vulnerable populations, such as migrant population, daily-wage labourers, industrial workers, and street dwellers, etc.
Since Covid-19 pandemic began last year, the Foundation has been utilising its kitchen infrastructure and resources to aid the government’s humanitarian efforts.
It is working with the union government, state governments, union territory administrations, civic bodies, corporate partners and individual donors to extend food relief in multiple locations across 21 states and four union territories.
