Kerala govt plans to induct transgenders in police force

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 8 (UNI) Kerala government is planning to induct transgenders in the State Police.
The State Home Department has initiated steps to know the opinion of the police department in this regard, sources said.
However, a final decision will be taken after getting a detailed report from the police department on various aspects of the issue.

'Telangana govt to bring a law to deal with cyber harassment'

Hyderabad, May 16 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLC K. Kavitha on Monday said Telangana government working with NALSAR university to come up with a law to deal with cyber harassment that women face.
Though there already are laws in place to deal with cybercrime in the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the government decided to bring in specific laws to make it easier to train citizens, police, and companies Kavitha said while addressing in a programme named “Call It Out Because Its Not OK,” a campaign by TrueCaller and News18 network that challenges today’s scenario of harassment being normalised online, here.

Lifer for 25 IUML workers in twin murder case
