Shivakumar accuses BJP for possible imposition of Governor's rule

Bengaluru, April 19 (UNI) Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has accused the BJP of threatening the state government and misleading voters about the possibility of imposing Governor's rule due to alleged deteriorating law and order.
Addressing the media here on Friday, Shivakumar questioned the intentions of the Leader of the Opposition, R Ashoka, alleging that the BJP is planning a drama to impose Governor's rule. "No matter how they project it, this can't be done here," he firmly stated.
The BJP has been critical of the Congress government, claiming a series of criminal incidents reported across the state in the last 48 hours as evidence of the worsening law and order situation.
