Fire breaks out at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant in AP, no casualties

Visakhapatnam, Dec 25 (UNI) A fire broke out at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) on Saturday morning and no one was injured in the incident.
The fire occurred in the Blast Furnace II(BF-II) and cooling pipes damaged besides huge quantities of coke and iron ore got scattered all over the oven, according to steel plant sources here.
Fire tenders from the plant were rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control, the sources added.
