Telangana: five killed in massive fire in factory in Sangareddy

Hyderabad, Apr 3 (UNI) At least five people, including a plant manager, four workers, and several others, were injured in a massive fire that broke out in a factory at Chandapur in Sangareddy district, on the outskirts of Hyderabad, on Wednesday evening.
Those injured in this incident have been taken to Sangareddy area hospital and Gandhi hospital in Hyderabad, police said here.
Around 15 workers were reportedly on the second shift at the time of the incident.
At least four fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flame.
Top district administration officials and top police officials have rushed to the spot.
Ministers Kondandarama Surekha and Damodar Rajanarsimha, who rushed to the fire spot, monitored rescue operations.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed grief over the deaths in a devastating fire.
The CM directed the district administration to provide all possible assistance to the affected families.
He also wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

Kakinada, May 1 (UNI) Two girl students of CSE first year of JNTUK College of Engineering – G Padmapriya and M. Kavitha - have been selected for the prestigious Amazon Future engineering programme in the National level competition.
