Kerala: Over 2000 cameras for Real-Time Monitoring

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 10 (UNI) As part of the extensive monitoring systems set up in connection with the Lok Sabha election, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sanjay Kaul said Real-Time Monitoring is being conducted across Kerala using 2,122 cameras.
"The visuals are being constantly monitored in control rooms set up in the office of the CEO and in districts. Visuals from checkpoints across the state, vehicles of flying squads that detect model code of conduct violations, and static surveillance teams are among the key activities related to the elections that are being monitored in real-time," he said on Wednesday.
Control rooms set up under the Returning Officers in 20 Lok Sabha constituencies are also monitoring the visuals. 391 cameras have been installed at training centers for election officials. During the period of nomination paper submission, 187 cameras were set up to monitor all returning officers' offices.

Two JNTUK students selected for prestigious Amazon education programme

Kakinada, May 1 (UNI) Two girl students of CSE first year of JNTUK College of Engineering – G Padmapriya and M. Kavitha - have been selected for the prestigious Amazon Future engineering programme in the National level competition.
