BJP alleges voter inducement by Cong in Bengaluru South, files complaint with ECI

Bengaluru, Apr 18 (UNI) The BJP in Bengaluru South has filed a formal complaint against Congress candidate Sowmya Reddy and others for allegedly violating the Model Code of Conduct ahead of the upcoming elections.
Gajendra S, the election agent for the BJP in Bengaluru South, lodged the complaint with the Election Commission of India (ECI) here on Thursday, alleging that Congress workers were inducing voters in BTM Layout by offering them a 'Guarantee Card' in exchange for their Aadhaar details. The complaint further claims that voters were promised bonds worth Rs 1 lakh post-elections.
Accompanying the complaint were photographs as evidence, showing Congress leaders, including Sowmya Reddy and former BBMP Mayor Manjunath Reddy, allegedly engaging in these activities.
