Kerala PWD to come under 'E-Office' before Dec-2021, Minister Mohammed Riyas

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 18 (UNI) The Public Works Department (PWD) will be coming under the 'E-Office' facility before December next, Kerala Minister for PWD and Tourism PA Mohamed Riyas said on Thursday.
Talking about the benefits of E-Office, the PWD will become paperless and more transparent in file movement, the Minister said in a press release here.
With the implementation of the facility linking with the State Secretariat, the entire system will function on a same software which will have access to offices including from the section office to the Chief Engineer's office, he added.
