HP experiences light to moderate snowfall & hailstorms

Shimla, Apr 20 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh experienced light to moderate snowfall, hailstorms, thunderstorms, and wind storms, disrupting normal life and causing property and infrastructure loss.
Koksar experienced 19 cm snowfall, with Gondola 1.5 cm, Keylong 8.5 cm, and Kukumseri 2.5 cm. Atal Tunnel Rohtang North Portal connects Darcha via link road, Met officials said.
According to the Met Office, landslides at Sisu, Selfie Point, Keylong, Darcha to Shinkula, and Zanskar have caused road blockages, snowfall, and avalanches, causing significant disruptions. The Snow Losar to Gramphu has been closed due to its mounting.
