48 new COVID-19 cases in MP

Bhopal, Dec 29 (UNI) Forty-eight fresh instances of novel coronavirus infection were reported in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday following analysis of more than 61,000 samples even as 26 individuals recovered.

A Health Services Directorate bulletin issued tonight said that the active cases number 307 compared to 285 just a day earlier and 122 about a month back. The district-wise break-up of new sufferers is Indore 32; Bhopal six; Ujjain, Jabalpur and Jhabua two each; Gwalior, Ratlam, Khargone and Narsinghpur one each. The number of active cases in this district is 72 and 14 of them are hospitalised.
