Fire caused damage to official records at LCMA office Srinagar

Srinagar, Jan 6 (UNI) A fire broke out in the office complex of Lakes Conservation and Management Authority (LCMA) at Miskeen Bagh area of Srinagar in the wee hours of Thursday here, resulting in partial damage to equipment and official records, officials said.

An official spokesman said, “the fire caused considerable damage to the Correspondence Section, Establishment Section of Head Office and in to the Secretary’s Office . Besides, two washrooms and a Photostat room got partially damaged and most of the records inside the room gutted in the fire incident”.
