Vij urges MLAs to call on dial 112 to cross-check complaint addressing system

Chandigarh, Dec 22 (UNI) Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij while urging all the MLAs in the ongoing Vidhan Sabha to call on dial 112 and cross-check the complaint addressing system said that if there is a complaint it will be addressed immediately, officials informed here on Wednesday.
Prompt action by the police helps to eliminate crime and catch the criminals, Mr Vij said in response to a question raised during the ongoing winter session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha here on Wednesday.
"Our Government is trying to stop crime and in this episode, dial 112 system has been implemented in the state, under which 621 new Innova vehicles have been launched and two vehicles have been given to every police station. In order to implement this system, these vehicles have been connected through an integrated call centre," he said.
