PM-SURAJ: Over 1700 beneficiaries in J&K provided assistance to start business venture

Jammu, Mar 13 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on Wednesday that 1747 beneficiaries belonging to Scheduled Caste, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and the Safai Karamchari community were provided assistance to start a business venture and lead a life with dignity.
Sinha expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for sanctioning credit support to one lakh entrepreneurs from the disadvantaged sections of the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Samajik Utthan evam Rozgar Adharit Jankalyan (PM-SURAJ) national portal and sanctioned credit support to one lakh entrepreneurs from socially disadvantaged sections of the country.
