UP: Two killed, 4 injured as pickup hits e-rickshaw

Muzaffarnagar, Mar 14 (UNI) Two persons, including a child, were killed and four others were injured when a pickup van hit an e-rickshaw in Shahpur area of Muzaffarnagar district here in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that the incident took place when the e-rickshaw carrying students and villagers from Adampur village was going to Shahpur. "On Adampur road the e-rickshaw was hit by the pickup coming from the opposite direction," they said.
Police sources said that Nazim was killed on the spot. "The injured were taken to the community health centre from where the e-rickshaw driver and four children were referred to the district hospital where one student Varnika succumbed to injuries during treatment," they said.
