Two killed as pickup van hits motorcycle in UP's Amroha

Amroha, March 8 (UNI) A youth and a girl were killed when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a pickup van in Didauli area of Amroha district in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, police sources said here.
The sources said that the accident took place near Budhanpur on Delhi-Lucknow highway where the pickup van overturned after hitting the motorcycle. "Two persons riding the motorcycle were killed in the incident," they said.
The sources said that the deceased have been identified as Sonu (29) and Pinky (25), both residents of Majhola area in Moradabad district. "Sonu's father Chandra Kishore told the police that he had gone to fetch Gangajal from Haridwar on the occasion of Maha Shivratri," they said.
