AAP observes Ambedkar Jayanti as protest against BJP

New Delhi, Apr 14 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday observed the 134th birth anniversary of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar as 'Samvidhan Bachao, Tanashahi Hatao Divas' (Save Constitution, Remove Dictatorship) in a protest against the BJP-led central government.
During the event at the party headquarters, AAP leaders and supporters took an oath to fight to save the Constitution at the national level as well as in the capital.
Addressing the gathering at event, Senior party leader Sanjay Singh accused the BJP stating that its MPs are openly talking about changing the constitution, which is why the BJP is demanding over 400 seats. If the BJP comes to power, it will change the Constitution and abolish reservations for Dalits, tribals, and backward classes.
