Sweden to host World Environment Day 2022

New Delhi, Nov 18 (UNI) Sweden will host the World Environment Day 2022, which will highlight the need to live sustainably in harmony with nature by bringing transformative changes - through policies and choices - towards cleaner, greener lifestyles, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) announced on Thursday.
The theme for World Environment Day 2022 is "Only On Earth," UNEP said in a statement here.
It said 2022 marks 50 years of the first United Nations Conference on Human Environment – the 1972 Stockholm Conference, which led to the creation of UNEP and designating June 5 every year as the World Environment Day.
