Poacher cum trader of animals' parts from Assam arrested in Bengal with scales of endangered pangolin and spotted Deerskin

Jalpaiguri, Nov 22 (UNI) A seasoned poacher cum trader of animals parts, identified as Bishnu Jain( 39) from Assam has been arrested, along with scales of endangered Pangolin and an adult-sized skin of killed spotted Deer from Odlabari in the North Bengal frosted area, Sarugarha forest range officer Sanjay Dutta sain on Monday.
The dead animal parts were supposed to be smuggled to China via Nepal.

Puri administration lifts restriction on cremation in Swargadwar

Puri, Jan 27 (UNI) The Puri district administration on Thursday lifted the restriction on cremation
of non covid bodies coming from outside the district in Swargadwar

In a release District Collector Samarth Verma on Thursday lifted the ban and said cremation of bodies outside the district will be allowed with only ten accompanying persons for cremation at Swargadwar cremation site with adherence to Covid appropriate norms
