Bihar "What's there for Bihar in BJP manifesto?": Tejaswi

Patna, Apr 14 (UNI) Reacting sharply on the BJP's manifesto released on Sunday, the leader of the opposition in the Bihar Assembly Tejaswi Prasad Yadav said "What is there for the people of Bihar in the manifesto of the BJP?"
Yadav said here that neither a special package nor special status to Bihar has been mentioned in the manifesto which also lacked the vision for developing the state. The manifesto of the BJP also did not discuss how it would develop the other backward states. The BJP also did not mention anything about the farmers, he added.
The RJD leader said that there is no programme for poverty eradication and added that there is nothing serious in it. He said everyone was aware of the work done by the BJP during the past 10 years during which it failed to execute its promises.
Yadav further said that nothing has been mentioned about the 60 percent youth of the country. The party has also not mentioned blueprint providing jobs to the people.
Reacting to the food grain scheme of the BJP Tejaswi Yadav said that the food security bill was introduced during Congress regime and its name has now only been changed by the BJP which has put the burden on the states.
Dubbing the manifesto as just a ritual and tradition, RJD Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha alleged that there is nothing unique in this document.Jha said that the Modi government was silent on old-age pensions.
