Odisha records highest ever collection of Gross GST of Rs.5135.81 Crore

Bhubaneswar, Mar 1 (UNI) Odisha has registered a record in the collection of Gross GST of Rs. 5135.81 Crore as well as the third highest ever collection of State GST of Rs. 2295.41 Crore during February 24, official sources on Friday said.
It said the state has recorded the highest ever collection of Gross GST (CGST & IGST OGST + Cess) with a collection of Rs. 5135.81 Crore during February 2024 against a corresponding collection of Rs. 4519.35 Crore recorded during February 2023.
This was the highest-ever collection of the Gross GST registering a growth rate of 13.64 percent. The progressive Gross GST collection during FY 2023-24 (till February 24) is Rs. 49638.64 Crore with a growth of 11.07 percent over the corresponding period of FY 2022-23.

Aizawl, Apr 28(UNI) At least 650 homes including 51 houses in Tualpui and Vanka villages of northeastern Khawza distrrict have been ravaged by rain accompanied by massive hailstorm and gusty wind in Mizora on Saturday morning
Sources said 24 houses houses have been destroyed in Tualpui and 27 houses damaged in Vankal village when a heavy hailstorm hit the two villages at around 2 AM on Saturday morning.
