Itanagar, Jan 7 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has said that with the Government now focusing on speedy development of the border regions through roads and other key infrastructures, Arunachal Pradesh is also getting a move on, as roads are reaching interior places like Taksing and other remote border areas due to the “aggressive” stance taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Chief Minister, who concluded his three-day tour to Nacho constituency in Upper Subansiri district bordering China on Thursday, said this while addressing public meetings at Taksing, Gelemo and Nacho.
“The country has made a departure from the earlier policy of discouraging development near the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The government now is focused on speedy development of the border regions by constructing roads up to the border, and building of other vital infrastructures.
