Three arm traders held, five fire arms seized

Bhubaneswar, Nov 16 (UNI) Commissionerate of Police, Cuttack have arrested three illegal arms traders and seized five firearms including three 9 MM pistols and 30 rounds of live ammunition
from their possession.
Police identified the gun smugglers as Milan alias Sujit Swain of Jagatsinghpur, Jitu alias Dibyaswarup Sahoo of Khordha and Saubhagya Jena of Jagatsinghpur.

Puri administration lifts restriction on cremation in Swargadwar

Puri, Jan 27 (UNI) The Puri district administration on Thursday lifted the restriction on cremation
of non covid bodies coming from outside the district in Swargadwar

In a release District Collector Samarth Verma on Thursday lifted the ban and said cremation of bodies outside the district will be allowed with only ten accompanying persons for cremation at Swargadwar cremation site with adherence to Covid appropriate norms

The Puri district administration has imposed restrictions in the first week of January on cremation
at Swargadwar burning ghat in the wake of sharp rise in new corona positive cases .
