Altair expands operations in Chennai, opens new office

Chennai, Apr 9 (UNI) Altair (Nasdaq: ALTR), a global leader in computational intelligence, product development, high-performance computing (HPC), and data analytics, expanded its operations in Chennai with the opening of its new office on Tuesday.
This strategic expansion strengthens Altair's commitment to serving its growing customer base in the region and underscores its dedication to fostering innovation and collaboration within the Indian engineering community.
The newly expanded Chennai office will accommodate 100+ employees and serve as a hub for Altair's engineering and technical teams, enabling closer collaboration with customers and partners in the southern region of India. It will offer a range of services, including technical support, training, and consulting, to help businesses leverage Altair's cutting-edge simulation and optimization technologies for enhanced product development.
Talking to reporters, Company Managing Director Vishwanath Rao said "The decision to establish a presence in Chennai reflects Altair's commitment to providing localized support and expertise to our valued customers across India.
