NCP calls India fairing 'poorly under Modi' is 'shocking'

Aurangabad/Mumbai, May 20 (UNI) NCP chief spokesperson for Maharashtra, Mahesh Tapase on Friday stated it was shocking to learn that India under Narendra Modi led government is faring poorly as per these World Bank World Governance markers.
The World Bank World Governance indicators provide a ranking of 215 countries territories based on six dimensions of governance: ‘Voice and Accountability’; ‘Political Stability and Absence of Violence’; ‘Government Effectiveness’; ‘Regulatory Quality’; ‘Rule of Law’ and ‘Control of Corruption.’
"Modi government which promised 'Acche Din' is now struggling to give quality life to its citizens, said Tapase.

Pune, April 24(UNI) Day temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1°C or more) at many places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim; at isolated places over Bihar; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at a few places over Gangetic West Bengal; at isolated places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura and Jharkhand; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over Assam and Meghalaya; at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Odisha. These were appreciably below normal (-3.1°C to -5.0°C) at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana; below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at isolated places over Uttarakhand, east Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and east Madhya Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 43.5°C was reported at Anantapur (Rayalaseema) over the country.
