Narendra Thakur inaugurated Gasota cattle fair

Hamirpur (HP), May 16(UNI) BJP MLA Narendra Thakur on Monday inaugurated the week long Cattle fair at Gasota Mahadev where an ancient temple of Lord Shiva is located.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that fairs have great importance in the culture of the state and the country. He said that this temple is more than 400 years old, its governing deity is Lord Shiva and annually a fair is held on the first Monday of the month of 'Jeshtha', which is attended by a huge crowd.
