Mumbai: Advocate, bureaucrat get anticipatory bail in forged letter case

Mumbai, April 24 (UNI) A sessions court here on Wednesday granted anticipatory bail to a city-based advocate and a high-ranking government officer for their alleged involvement in a case related to forged appointment letters.
The case, registered with Colaba police, involved alleged forging of letters appointing the advocate as special public prosecutor (SPP) in cases against famous builder Sanjay Punamiya, who was facing a criminal trial.
