Mandsaur accident: MP CM announces Rs 2 lakh compensation for kin of dead

Bhopal, Apr 27 (UNI) Expressing grief over the loss of lives in the Mandsaur district road accident. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh each to the kin of the deceased.
Rs one lakh will be given to each of the seriously injured, and Rs 50,000 to those with minor injuries from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
Twelve people have died in the accident in Narayanpur police station area.

85 kg heroin worth Rs 595 crore recovered, one arrested

Amritsar, May 16 (UNI) Punjab police on Friday claimed to have busted a cross-border, ISI-controlled Pakistan- based narco-smuggling module operated by UK-based drug handler Lalli and arrested his India-based operative, Amarjot Singh alias Jota Sandhu, and recovered 85 kg heroin worth Rs 595 crore.
