Maha: Women beneficiaries perform 'aarti' at CM's bungalow in honour of Lord Ganesha

Mumbai, Sep 16 (UNI) The women beneficiaries of the “Chief Minister's Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana" on Monday participated in the 'darshan' and 'aarti' of Lord Ganesha's idol at official bungalow of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde here.
These women, who have benefited from the scheme, were welcomed warmly, and CM Shinde himself performed the 'aarti' alongside them, marking the occasion with great reverence.
Speaking on the occasion, Shiv Sena-Shinde spokesperson Sheetal Mhatre highlighted the government's commitment to empowering women, stating, “This government stands with the workers, labourers and women of Maharashtra. Through the CM Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, we have already supported women during Raksha Bandhan, and we will continue to provide benefits during Diwali and beyond."
