Maha: HC asks Family court to decide divorce plea of cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal by Mar 20

Mumbai, Mar 19 (UNI) The Bombay High Court on Wednesday directed the Family court to decide the divorce plea of cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his estranged wife Dhanashree Verma by Thursday (tomorrow), after waiving the mandatory six-month cooling off period post filing of divorce.
A single bench of Justice Madhav Jamdar said Chahal would not be available from March 21 as he has to participate in upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket tournament.
"As petitioner 1 (Chahal) is participant of IPL, learned counsel informs that he may not be available from March 21, the learned judge of Family court is requested to decide petition by tomorrow," the Court directed.

Effective surveillance through CCTV systems being carried out at all railway stations in Mumbai

Mumbai, Apr 26 (UNI) In the wake of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, security at public places in Maharashtra is being strengthened. Effective surveillance is being carried out through CCTV systems in railway stations and surroundings for the safety of Mumbaikar passengers, the Mumbai Commissionerate said on Saturday.
