Light rain in HP, stormy weather ahead

Shimla, April 17 (UNI) There were drizzle at a few places in an otherwise dry Himachal Pradesh as the plains recorded a rise in mercury, the Met Office said on Wednesday.
While the foothills are experiencing hot weather, Kangra district is lashed by frequent snowfalls with more than 107 roads covered in snow. Many have been affected by frequent avalanche in Lahaul Spiti, Chamba and Kinnaur district.
Continued rainfall over a week in Shimla, Kullu and Chamba district dipped the mercury in these areas.
