LG calls for attitudinal change among people to contain spread of Coronavirus in UT

Puducuehrry, Aug 2 (UNI) Lt Governor Kiran Bedi on Sunday called for attitudinal change among the people to contain the spread of Coronavirus in the Union Territory.
In a whatsapp posting, Ms Bedi, who conducted a review meeting on the COVID situation here, said that in spite of all round efforts, the number of COVID-19 positive case was likely to double by August end.
As the response system is being strengthened, the spread could effectively stopped only if people adopted an attitudinal change in their best self interest, she said.

in post-Independence era, the sluice gates of the Mettur Dam will
be opened and water released for irrigation on May 24, instead of
the traditional date of June 12, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin
