Karnataka DyCM Shivakumar weighs Channapatna bypoll bid

Bengaluru, June 19 (UNI) Karnataka's Deputy Chief Minister, DK Shivakumar, hinted on Wednesday at his potential candidacy for the Channapatna Assembly bypoll, affirming his commitment to abide by the collective decision of both his party and the constituents.

In a conversation with reporters prior to his scheduled visit to the town nestled in the neighboring Ramanagara district, Shivakumar conveyed, "Channapatna holds a profound significance in my political journey; it's not just a geographic location but a pivotal point where my aspirations and commitments converged."
