K'taka joint session from Feb 14 to 25

Bengaluru, Jan 27 (UNI) Joint session of the state legislature would be held from February 14 to 25 and the Budget session would be held in the first week of March, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said on Thursday.
"Many important issues were discussed after the cabinet meeting. Covid situation and management, problems being faced by schools and colleges. The petitions from schools, colleges and organizations have been placed before the expert committee. Suitable decision would be taken based on the report from the experts," he told reporters here.
BBMP elections too came up for discussion and it has been decided to conduct one by deploying ministers from other districts too along with ministers of Bengaluru, Bommai stated.
