Jammu civic body aims to plant over 6K plants before I-Day

Jammu, June 17 (UNI) Under 'Clean Jammu Green Jammu' initiatives, the Jammu Municipal Corporation is aiming to plant more than 6,000 plants before Independence Day this year.
Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Devansh Yadav, while taking to micro-blogging site, posted on X, said, “Hello Jammu. Let’s all plant and adopt a tree under Clean Jammu Green Jammu initiative!”
“Each tree planted will be assigned a QR code containing details of the adopter. We aim to plant 6,000-plus trees before Independence Day,” he posted.
