J&K: Fire damages two commercial buildings in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 28 (UNI)At least two commercial buildings were gutted in a fire incident in the posh Raj Bagh area of Srinagar on Tuesday evening.
Fire and Emergency Service officials told UNI that a fire broke out at 7.25 PM this evening in a four-story commercial building at the Posh Raj Bagh area and engulfed another one causing damage to the attic portions of both the buildings.
The fire tenders were rushed to the spot from various city fire stations to the area to douse the leaping flames. The fire has been brought under control, they said.
No one was injured in the incident, they said and added, and the cause of the fire is being ascertained.
