Insecticides (India) Ltd net up 42 pc at Rs 17.4 cr in Q3 despite flat revenue

New Delhi, Feb 10 (UNI) Crop protection and nutrient firm Insecticides (India) Ltd on Monday reported 42 per cent jump in net profit year-on-year at Rs 17.4 crore inthe third quarter, versus Rs 12.3 crore in same quarter of 2023-24.
Revenue from operations remained flat at Rs 357.7 crore in October -December quarter as against Rs 357.9 crore in same quarter of previous fiscal, company said in a statement.
Commenting on results, Rajesh Aggarwal, MD, IIL, said "We are excited to share our robust performance during current quarter with 42 per cent growth in PAT. This is in line with the strategic framework established at start of the year focussing on profitable growth with higher share of premium products and improving its margins. The first 9 months has been in line with expectations, driven by strong contributions from our premium products range, which now constitutes 62 per cent of B2C revenue and significant improvement in our EBITDA margins."
The company launched 10 new products in first nine months including latest technology products, it added.
