IBA Women's world boxing Champion Zareen is a true role model for girls: Haryana Governor

Hyderabad, May 23 (UNI) Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya on Monday called up Nikhat Jameel Ahmed, father of boxer Nikhat Zareen, the winner of the IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships-2022 in the 52 kg flyweight final.
Congratulating Ahmed, Dattatraya said: “Nikhat Zareen has scripted a scintillating chapter of glory and has brought rare laurels to the nation and Telangana in particular by winning the IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships-2022 in the 52 kg flyweight final.”
Dattatraya said that coming from a very humble background, Nikhat Zareen has proved by virtue of her indomitable spirit and determination that where there is a will, there is a way.
