I hope Sanju Samson does really well & gets back into Indian team: Sreesanth

Kolkata, March 23 (UNI) Former Indian speedster S Sreesanth said Sanju Samson does really well and gets back into Indian team.

Speaking on who the trump card for the Rajasthan Royals is, Sreesanth exclusively told Star Sports, “Sanju Samson, I genuinely hope he does extremely well and gets back into the Indian line-up, scoring lots and lots of runs with lots of performances.”
Sreesanth spoke about what the key strength of the Rajasthan Royals team is, he said “Buttler and Yashasvi opening! It’s going to be one of their best strengths. A youngster with an experienced guy. Even Hetmeyer coming and Sanju at number 3 coming in. He might even open sometimes. So, let’s see. I’m looking forward to seeing them, you know, come with flying colours and go from ball one.”
He further spoke on how Sanju Samson should approach the IPL as a captain, he said “See, Sanju being a very attacking captain and maybe sometimes when the occasion comes, he has to step back a bit, and that’s something which even I have been telling him. So, that’s one, maybe he has to balance between attacking and defending. Even when it comes to captaincy, he’s still learning, but that will be one very important point when it comes to strength as well as weakness. Sanju has to balance his thoughts and decision making.”
Sreesanth also spoke on the X-Factor that the Rajasthan Royals have, he said “The entire team, the entire team for me is the X Factor. They have a great unit, I must say. Even the team management, you know, when I used to play around they used to be very supportive and I’m very confident, it’s not just about winning, it’s about having a great family atmosphere and learning from each and everybody and sharing your experience. That’s something that the Rajasthan Royals do really well.”
He further spoke on the home advantage that the Rajasthan Royals will have, he said “Loud noise of the stadium, which is ‘Halla Bol! Hala Bol!’ and always ready for war. Even when it comes to the Fair Play Award, I remember from the first year onwards, Rajasthan Royals were always there. So they are a team which doesn’t go overboard, they are always in that thin line between foolishness and brevity, and that’s what I believe in. So they will have a great, great home advantage.”
The former India pacer also named his four overseas players in the Rajasthan Royals line-up and gave his prediction as to how the team will fair in this year’s campaign, he said “Buttler, as Jason Holder has come in, frankly it will be a good thing to see an all-rounder. Hetmeyer, because he can surely up the run rate and Trent Boult.”
He further added, “Yes, Rajasthan Royals have got a great chance last season, but as you know in a T20 league like the IPL, the predictions are only what you see live, so I am excited to watch it live! My prediction is just let’s have every match at the same level and let’s hope a new team wins the league!”
