House functioned sans Oppn., Speaker & Govt. urge them to attend House

Patna, June 29 (UNI) Bihar Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha and the Treasury bench requested the opposition members, boycotting the Lower House proceedings for not letting them to speak in the house on the issue of Agnnipath-Agnivir, to attend the house and join the proceedings.
Following the decision of the Leader of the opposition Tejaswi Prasad Yadav to boycott proceedings of Assembly till their demand for a debate on Agnipath scheme in the House was not accepted by the Speaker, the entire opposition which had boycotted the the post lunch sitting of Assembly on Tuesday adhered to the decision and boycotted the house on Wednesday too.
Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha, amid question hour proceeding requested the opposition members to attend the house which he said was not a place for political competitions and to settle political grievances.
