Himachal: Four die as HRTC bus falls into gorge

Shimla, June 21 (UNI) Four persons were killed and three others injured when a bus fell into a gorge in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh on Friday morning.
Superintendent of police, Shimla, Sanjeev Gandhi said the accident happened at Giltadi under Jubbal subdivision when the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus was going from Kudu to Giltadi.
The driver and the conductor were among the deceased.
At the time of accident seven people were in the bus. Three of them have been hospitalised with grievous injuries.
The bodies were being retrieved from the ill-fated bus and would be handed over after the postmortem, the SP added.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident. UNI ML SY SSP

Chandigarh, June 17 (UNI) Punjab Police’s State Cyber Crime Division has busted an inter-state
gang allegedly involved in investment fraud with the arrest of two people from Panchkula and Abohar,
said DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav here on Tuesday.
The modus operandi used by this gang was to lure innocent persons into their trap by offering high profits in stock market investment through Telegram and WhatsApp groups.
