Himachal: Electricity Board Joint Front discusses key issues with CM Sukhu

Shimla, Nov 6 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Wednesday directed the state electricity board management to meet representatives of employees and engineers on November 11 and give feedback to the government about their concernsSukhu gave the directive after representatives from the Joint Front of Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB) employees and engineers called on him and discussed pressing issues concerning the recent unbundling efforts and workforce adjustments within the board.
A Joint Front statement said the directive reflects a commitment to ensuring the voices of HPSEB employees and engineers are heard and feasible solutions are explored.
The meeting, which took place at the Chief Minister’s residence, Oak Over, lasted for about half an hour. Although many officials from the Joint Front were out of Shimla, representatives E. Lokesh Thakur and Heera Lal Verma participated in the discussions.
