Himachal: Collector orders correction in Shajra Nasab record of Kanaura tribe

Kinnaur, Apr 26 (UNI) District collector Dr Amit Kumar Sharma on Saturday ordered correction of clerical errors in "Shajra Nasab" Records under Section 38-A of the Himachal Pradesh (HP) Land Revenue Act, 1954.
In a notification, the decision was taken on several representations, applications and complaints received in this office from individuals and authorities regarding discrepancies in the entries of caste / tribe names in the Shajra Nasah (pedigree table) and other revenue records in District Kinnaur. H.P.;
A single-page order stated that complainants or grievances have pointed out that the name of the Scheduled Tribe community "Kanaura" / "Kinnara" as recognized under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Orders (Amendment) Act, 1976, is not being reflected accurately in the revenue records.
