High pitched campaigning for 8 seats in UP ends

Lucknow, April 24 (UNI) The high pitched campaigning for the second phase of the Lok Sabha election covering eight constituencies, spread over nine districts in Uttar Pradesh, ended on Wednesday.
UP Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa said that polling in these eight constituencies, including Amroha, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulnadshahr, Aligarh and Mathura will be held on Friday. While seven Lok Sabha seats are of general category, Bulandshahr has been reserved for Scheduled castes.
He said that these 8 Lok Sabha constituencies are spread over nine districts in Amroha, Hapur, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh and Mathura.
