Squally weather with wind speed 40 - 50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph very likely to prevail along and off Konkan, Goa coast during next 24 hours.

Maha local bodies polls: EC to hold key meeting on July 10

Mumbai, July 8 (UNI) After a prolonged delay, elections to the local self-government bodies in Maharashtra are finally set to take place by the end of this year. The State Election Commission has begun extensive groundwork and has scheduled an online meeting with all district collectors on July 10. Letters about the meeting have already been sent to all divisional commissioners. District collectors will join in via video conferencing, government sources said.

RSS criticises Maha govt’s language policy
