Heatwave: Odisha schools shut for 3 days

Bhubaneswar, April 17 (UNI) As Odisha continued to sizzle under unprecedented heatwave conditions, the state government on Wednesday announced the closure of all schools across the state for the next three days.
Both government and private schools will remain closed from April 18 to April 20, as per a government notification.
Several parts of Odisha have been experiencing intense heatwave conditions for the past few days, forcing people to remain indoors during peak hours.
